Great multi-purpose boot : Scarpa Women's Kailash GTX Lady Hiking Boot,Gray/Ginko,37.5 EU (US Women's 6 1/2 M)
I bought these hiking boots, based on some reviews I read, on here, and on other forums. I tried them on at a sporting goods store and they were extremely comfortable and light. I bought them to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in September of this year, so obviously have not done that yet, but will write a report when I return about the climb and how the boots worked there. So far, I wear them walking the dogs, colse to the house, to break them in...however, from all things I have read, there is no need to break them in, because they are built to be worn immediately. And you do unquestionably feel that when you're wearing them. I'm extremely happy with purchasing them and they were considerably less expensive on Amazon then they were at the sporting goods store.
